PCA National Judges for 2021
All the conformation judges that were scheduled for the canceled 2020 National have agreed to move their assignments forward one year to 2021.
Purina Farms has posted on their website the decision to cancel all public events through April 30, 2020. The next PCA at Purina Farms will be held on April 22 – 30, 2021. The Hunt Events are scheduled on April 22nd – 25th, Agility on April 26th, Obedience/Rally on April 27th and Conformation on April 28th – 30th.
I have already provided the MB-F Guidance on how to obtain a refund for your entries fees for 2020 – you must contact MB-F prior to the entry closing date of 12:00 NOON (EDT), Thursday, April 2, 2020 and have provided you the hotel reservation information for the Wildwood Hotel and the Holiday Inn at Six Flags.
PCA Fund Raising: All will be transferred to 2021 unless you wish to cancel at which time you will lose your space.
All checks received will be shredded by March 28th unless you request otherwise. Credit Card purchases made through the PCA Website will be refunded.
The 2021 PCA Theme will remain the same – “Join Us At The Hop” and YES, you may keep all those great outfits for our Retro Dress Contest!
All 2020 dedications will be posted in the 2021 PCA Catalog.

The Wildwood Hotel
The Wildwood Hotel would first like to Thank You for allowing us to host you while you participate in the events at Purina Farms. We understand at this time that those events scheduled for March and April have been postponed or canceled and that most of you will no longer be traveling to the area. If you have a reservation and are still planning on traveling to the area please call the hotel or email firstname.lastname@example.org by March 14, 2020 to hold that reservation. If we do not receive a call we will assume that your travel plans have changed due to the cancellation of your event and will cancel all remaining reservations on Saturday, March 14, 2020.

We understand your organization and Purina Farms are taking the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy with the concern of the Coronavirus. For all dog show reservations in the group block occurring in March and April 2020 we are refunding any $100 deposits already paid and canceling all reservations under the group block. If you are still traveling to our hotel and want to keep your reservation you will need to contact us by March 23, 2020, otherwise it will be canceled. If you did not book the group rate through the hotel directly, you will need to contact us or the third party through which you made the reservation.

MB-F DOG SHOW ENTRY CANCELLATION GUIDANCE
The message below is from Mr. Fred Lyman, Treasurer, MB-F, Inc. regarding MB-F Dog Show Entry Cancellation Guidance.
Also, as noted in the PCA Premium List, General Information & Show Rules, Page 15, PCA Entries close at the MB-F’s Office 12:00 NOON (EDT), Thursday, April 2, 2020 …. after which time entries cannot be accepted, canceled or changed, except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules.
Since the entries for your event have not closed, exhibitors can cancel their entries by sending up a written statement that they wish to cancel either by U.S. Postal Service mail or email to email@example.com. They should include the Variety, dog’s name, dog’s registration number in the message.
Sorry that this has all come to be. Hopefully, this will pass quickly and everyone can get back to life.

Reserved ringside seating is $75.00 per seat for Wednesday through Friday. Payment for all reservations must be received by Friday, April 10th, 2020. Payments for confirmed reservations are not refundable. All seat tickets must be picked up at the show; none will be mailed.

GROOMING AREA SETUP FOR CONFORMATION “ONLY” EXHIBITORS
Tuesday, April 21, 2020
Admission to the Purina Event Center for conformation exhibitors begins on Tuesday, April 21, with the WINNERS OF THE 2020 AUCTION entering first at 6:30 A.M. in setup number order. Any auction winner not present at 6:30 A.M. will lose his/her setup number selection. ALL OTHER CONFORMATION EXHIBITORS will be admitted in setup number order SHORTLY AFTER THE AUCTION WINNERS HAVE ENTERED. Those exhibitors arriving at the show without a setup number can obtain one at The Great Hall from 6:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. Tuesday. Late arrivals will be accommodated.
TO RECEIVE A SETUP NUMBER BY E-MAIL OR MAIL, DOWNLOAD AND COMPLETE THE GROOMING REQUEST FORM.
All Setup Forms received by March 25, 2020 will be assigned setup numbers by random draw conducted by an Independent Agent as soon after the deadline as practical. Forms received after March 25, 2020 will be assigned numbers as they are received. No setup number will be available by Email or mail after April 4, 2020. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- Names submitted on Setup Forms must be those of exhibitors/agents exhibiting in this show.
- No duplicate names, please. The Setup Committee will assign only one setup number per exhibitor.
- SEND NO MORE THAN “THREE” FORMS IN A REGULAR BUSINESS OR LETTER SIZE ENVELOPE.
- Setup Forms sent in envelopes of other sizes will be drawn after all others!

RV Parking begins on Sunday, April 14th at 12:00pm
All RVs must be out of the Purina RV Sites on Saturday, April 20 by 9:00 A.M.
The 2020 RV Parking Sites A1 through B17 were auctioned off at the 2019 PCA Specialty Show. The 2021 Live Auction will take place following the Regular Dog Classes on Wednesday, April 22nd. The remainder of the 2021 RV Parking Site Requests will be selected by random draw. Parking sites C1 through D21 will be assigned for five nights stay followed by multiple nights then single night stay.
RV Parking Forms received by March 23rd, will be assigned a site number by random draw. Forms received after March 23rd will be assigned a site number as they are received. You will be notified of your site number via Email. PLEASE WRITE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS CLEARLY.
Please include your payment of $40.00 per night in the form of a check or money order, payable to PCA in U.S. funds – NO CREDIT CARDS.
All sites on the ground will be charged a parking fee and will be assigned a parking site number.
2020 RV Auction Winners complete the RV Request Form and mail with your payment of $40.00 per night stay by March 23rd.
Please write 2020 Auction Winner on the outside of the envelope.

Just Groom a Poodle!
7th Annual Grooming Competition & Fundraiser
Monday, April 20th starting at 10:00 am
Entry fee is $50
Deadline to enter Monday, April 13th.
Groom any poodle variety in any of the following clips: Continental, HCC, English Saddle, Puppy Clip, Scandinavian, Secondary Puppy Clip, German Clip or Sporting Trim.
Poodle feet & faces can be clipped prior to the competition. You will be allotted the following times: Toy ~ 1 hour 45 minutes, Miniature – 2 hours, Standard – 2 hours 30 minutes.
Trims with spray up will be allotted an additional 15 minutes. An assistant can help hold your dog for spray up during that 15-minute time slot.
Competitors will be judged by nationally renowned award-winning judges: Kelly Knight NCMG & Irina (Pina) Pinkusevich NCMG

Prizes will be awarded for the first, second & third placement in each division.

Coat clips must be in accordance with the Breed Standard. Dogs with an AKC Hunting Title or PCA Working Certificate may be exhibited in short hunting trim.
Any poodle with an AKC Obedience, Tracking, Agility, Hunting or Rally Title or with any PCA Working Certificate (WC or WCX) or PCA Upland
Certificate are eligible for the Performance Parade.
The entry blank must have “Performance Parade” on it and mailed with entry fee to MB-F, Inc.
Each entrant in the Parade will receive a Rosette with dog’s name imprinted.
The entry form must indicate “Conformation Parade” or Performance Parade” AND MAILED WITH ENTRY FEE TO MB-F, INC.
Resumes for Parades will not be accepted at the show grounds.

This year we are very pleased to welcome Dawna Voelkl, DVM, DACT, Associate Teaching Professor of Theriogenology at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, speaking on Canine Herpes Virus Infection: Not Just Fading Puppies; Expanding Your genetic Options through Advanced Breeding Techniques; and News Flashes: The Latest updates on Canine Reproduction. A trifecta of important information for breeders in this rapidly evolving field! We expect lots of audience questions, so in addition to answering as many as time allows at the seminar, Dr. Voelkl will also spend the rest of the day at Purina Farms so she can talk informally with breeders.
